This is a documentation of day 9 of 39 (I update the morning after a day is complete)
Tuesday, May 9, 2017 – Day 9
I did Aikido in the evening and burned up 406 calories in class. Before that I had some kind of cold laser treatment on my knees and it was off the hook awesome!!!!!!! Class started like normal and then after the warm up fight club started – all out until the end of the class. I worked Ji-waza with my Sensei Jonathan Weiner (4th Dan), Brent Goodroe (1st Kyu) and Jack Freund (2nd Kyu) – basically these guys move quickly, accurately and throw with force. Which in turn means you have to be mentally present and flowing – the more you slip into oxygen debt the less you can be present and the less you flow thereby increasing the chance of injury. It was a great workout and then we celebrated Sensei Jim Hyde’s 34th birthday with Osaka Sushi – good times.
I had 4 meals each in the 480 calorie range.
Meal 5 was with the Aikido gang 500 calories range of Sushi.
For the day I burned 3,060 calories.
I took in 2,456 calories.
The net deficit was 604 calories.
I slept 6:21
I drank 97 oz of water.
Bottom line – Today was a win but need more sleep.
